The Autumn Flower Fair commenced Friday at the Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Garden in Luohu District and will continue until Dec. 1. With 15,000 square meters of stunning floral displays, the fair showcases over 200 varieties of flowers.

Exciting events including concerts, poetry readings, ancient music flash mobs and Hanfu fashion shows will take place Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Additionally, food stalls and booths showcasing a blend of digital innovation and intangible cultural heritage have been set up.

Ticketed entry to the garden is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., while free access is granted from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 15 yuan (US$2.07) for adults, and children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall can enter for free. Tickets can be purchased via the Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Garden's official WeChat account “深圳市仙湖植物園.”

Due to limited parking at the garden's entrance, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation. The nearest Metro station is Xianhu Road Station on Line 2 and 8.

The Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Garden opened to the public in 1988. At that time, it was the largest public park in Shenzhen and the largest botanical garden in China.
