Maluan Mountain Country Park, which features hiking and nature sightseeing, is the first country park approved by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It covers an area of 21.73 square kilometers, bordering the Sanzhoutian Reservoir in Yantian District in the west, Kuichong Subdistrict in Dapeng New District in the east and Sanzhoutian Forest Park in the south. The park boasts natural resources, with two waterfalls, the Longtan Waterfall and the Lanhe Bridge Waterfall. The Longtan Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Shenzhen, with a drop of 50 meters. The highest peak of the park, Daguling, is 526.9 meters above sea level (ranking 10th highest in Shenzhen).

Based on the principle of "zero growth of cement-built trail, zero impact on biological species, and zero loss of ecological environment," the Maluan Mountain Handmade Trail makes use of local materials such as fallen dead wood and stones to build the ecological trail with minimal impact on the environment and less pollution. Since 2020, the total length of Maluan Mountain Handmade Trail increased to 12.7 kilometers and the trail has been widely praised by the public.
