Qianhai Stone Park, which spans an area of around 84,600 square meters, has witnessed the thriving development of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai & Shekou Area of Shenzhen. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made a call for change and a fresh start in front of this enormous stone Dec. 7, 2012. He returned here Oct. 24, 2018 to reaffirm to the world that China will not stop reform and opening up. The most emblematic of Qianhai, the stone has witnessed significant historical events, embodies the essence of Qianhai, and has grown to be a priceless Shenzhen relic. Qianhai Stone Park is more than just a memorial site that offers a pleasant setting for people to view Qianhai.

In 2021, Qianhai Stone Park was selected as one of the 35 "Four Histories" learning and practicing bases in Shenzhen. Party education is constantly held in front of Qianhai Stone, motivating Party members to innovate, maintain the spirit of revolution, and overcome all kinds of obstacles and challenges.
