Shenzhen reported two locally transmitted asymptomatic COVID-19 cases yesterday. The infections were detected among close contacts of the two asymptomatic cases reported Sunday.
The city also reported one imported confirmed case and 11 imported asymptomatic cases. The confirmed patient was previously an asymptomatic patient reported earlier, while the asymptomatic patients traveled to Shenzhen from the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, the United States (two cases), Algeria (two cases) and China’s Hong Kong(five cases).
They were put under closed-loop management upon arrival in the city and were later transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. All of them are in stable condition.
