We will prioritize the development of high-power ultrafast lasers and equipment, additive manufacturing equipment and systems, and other industries. We will increase the localization rate of upstream materials and devices such as specialty optical fibers, high-power gratings, high-power laser chips, and high-performance lasers. Specialized and characteristic equipment technology research will be conducted, and key projects such as the optoelectronic and optical fiber laser headquarters and research center will be established. We will support the creation of cluster areas in Bao’an, Longhua, Pingshan, and Qianhai, and build a city that leads in the laser and additive manufacturing industry.
