More than 3,500 exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions are set to attend the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) as exhibitor recruitment continues, organizers announced at a press conference yesterday.

This year's fair will be held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao'an from Nov. 14 to 16 and cover a combined area of 400,000 square meters. The fair will target an international, professional market and feature numerous business matching events, according to the organizers. More than 1,000 specialized groups have been invited by the organizers, and over 400,000 professionals from home and abroad are expected to attend.

One prominent feature of this upcoming CHTF is its global perspective. The fair will enhance cooperation with sci-tech companies, higher education institutions, commercial associations, and Shenzhen's sister cities in developed countries to bring in high technology. It will also collaborate with countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative to promote high-tech products.

The exhibition will include 22 professional sections that showcase breakthrough technologies and the latest achievements in high-tech fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics, new energy vehicles, industrial software and intelligent terminals, high-performance materials, and the low-altitude economy and aerospace.

The latest products in niche areas, especially artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence robots, new materials, and industrial software and intelligent terminals, will also be announced during the fair.

The X-Lake Forum, a key sideline event of the fair, will invite experts, scholars, business leaders, and innovative talent from around the world to share their insights on artificial intelligence.

Since beginning in Shenzhen in 1999, the CHTF has become an important platform from which China's high-tech sector can engage with the outside world.
